In Maktaaral district of Turkestan region, work is nearing completion to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation that arose as a result of flooding in may 2020.

To date, 503 contracts have been signed in the villages of Firdousi and Orgebas to receive payments for the construction of their own housing. Of these, residents celebrated a housewarming party in almost 80 houses, and walls and roofing work are being built in another 405 buildings. In addition, 80 families of villages received new sleeping sets purchased earlier specifically for residents.

It should be noted that for the construction of their own homes, residents of Maktaaral are paid compensation in the amount of 17 million tenge in three tranches. So, as of 25.09.2020, as part of payments for the construction of houses, 200 families have already received the second tranche totaling 850,000,000 tenge. In addition, the Fund under the SEC has started work on the payment of the final tranche in the amount of 4,250,000 tenge.
