The accounts of the corporate social development Fund "Turkistan" continue to receive funds to help residents of the Maktaaral district affected by the flood.

Thus, 1 billion tenge was sent by Kaz Minerals group to help the affected residents of Maktaaral. The funds received will be used to restore housing and compensate for damage, the amount of which is determined by a special Commission under the Governor's office of the Turkestan region.

Construction and restoration works are in full swing in the district. So, the construction of a new neighborhood for the residents of Maktaaral continues. In addition, residents of the affected villages of Firdousi and Orgebas have started building their own homes using funds paid as compensation.
