A meeting of the First Deputy Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption in the Turkestan region and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Company was held in JSC SEC Turkestan (hereinafter – the Company), during which a memorandum of cooperation was signed.

Aigul Akhmedzhanova, Chairman of the Management Board, introduced the Agency's representative to the Company's major investment projects and thanked him for supporting the initiative to increase the level of transparency and openness of work, which are necessary within the framework of the implementation of investment and social projects.

In turn, the Deputy head of the Agency Samet Nurdaulet spoke about a number of innovations in legislation and stressed that from year to year priority is given to measures to prevent and combat corruption.

It should be noted that since 2021, the Company and the Agency have been working closely together to counter corruption risks, prevent bureaucratic barriers and create a favorable climate for investment. This year, a new memorandum of cooperation was signed based on the new concept of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026.

The new memorandum provides for the organization of joint measures to prevent and suppress corruption offenses, training of the Company's employees and consulting support for business.
