Last weekend, a fair of food products was held in the city of Turkestan, organized by JSC «SEC «Turkestan», RIC «ONTUSTIK» and MFO «Yrys» LLP.

At the fair, held on June 5 on the territory of the «Altyn Bulak» market, the stabilization fund of the SEC and 10 regional farms presented their products. All products were sold at prices 20-40% lower than market prices and in total, during the fair, more than 10 tons of goods were sold.

Potatoes (89 tenge), onions (56 tenge), carrots (76 tenge), sugar (205 tenge), rice (245 tenge), pasta (186 tenge) and salt (43 tenge) were provided from the warehouses of the stabilization fund at the fair.

In turn, the partners of RIC «ONTUSTIK» and MFO «Yrys» LLP from the city of Arys and the village of Baidibek sold mutton for 1,942 tenge, and producers from the city of Sarygash sold tomatoes for 450 tenge and eggs for 28 tenge / piece. In addition, farmers of the Sairam district sold fresh potatoes at 140 tenge, fresh onions at 76 tenge and eggs at 28 tenge / piece, farmers of the Ordabasinsky district and the city of Kentau presented cucumbers at 140 tenge and bell peppers at 400 tenge.

Visitors of the fair expressed their gratitude for providing high-quality food products at affordable prices. In turn, the stabilization fund of the SEC «Turkestan» informs about plans to hold such fairs on a permanent basis.
