The uniqueness of the project:  Creation and organization of the company's activities for the cultivation of a medium-sized plum orchard with the use of drip irrigation systems on an area of 400 hectares. On the territory of the proposed gardens, 220,000 plum seedlings will be planted (planting scheme 5*3). These seedlings will be 1 year old at the time of planting. The garden will be equipped with a drip irrigation system of Israeli technology, equipped with pumping stations with wells and water storage tanks for irrigation. The infrastructure of the project includes premises for storing the necessary fertilizers and plant protection products, for machinery and equipment for processing the garden, household premises and the necessary infrastructure to ensure the safety of the object. Roads are planned to be laid out on the designated area for the convenience of work and maintenance of the garden. The planned minimum yield under favorable climatic conditions from 1 ha of the garden, starting from the third year after planting seedlings and up to 7 years, is from 3 to 20 tons. It is planned to reach full production capacity for plum cultivation for seedlings and young trees after 7 years. The duration of operation of gardens of this type is from 25 years and above.

Plum varieties: Formosa, Santa Rosa, Papaz, Can, Climax, Red Heart.

Land issue: The joint venture "TURKISTAN FRUIT" LLP received the rights to land plots of 400 hectares (Resolution No. 438 of November 27, 2020.

The issue of financing:A collateral loan was received from JSC "SEC" Turkestan " in the amount of 1,000 million tenge. It is planned to receive additional financing from JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation" of a collateral loan in the amount of 1,487. 8 million tenge, as well as Leasing of 492.7 thousand tenge.

Pre-project documentation:The design and estimate documentation (POI) of the project was developed and approved by the company "Engineering Systems-A"LLP. The financial and economic justification was developed and approved by the order of the State Institution "Department of Agriculture of the Turkestan region" No. 137-n/k dated 05.11.2020.

Field work: To date, work has been carried out to level the internal field roads and fence the territory of the site (400 hectares), supply of electricity, temporary structures have been installed, work has been completed to prepare the land for planting seedlings, fill in the perimeter and intra-block roads of the SBS, transformers have been installed, 7 reservoirs have been erected, drip irrigation equipment (pumping stations, mines, filtration stations) has been installed. Work is underway on drilling wells and planting seedlings (a total of 21 wells, of which 20 wells have been prepared, 1 at the drilling stage).

 

Note: In the future, it is planned to expand the project by building a fruit storage facility for 10 thousand tons, a sorting line of 8 tons / hour, and direct-pressed juice.
