The cities of Turkestan and Kentau were identified as pilot cities under the Safe City project. The project will be implemented using modern information technologies and software and hardware. Digitalization will also go through all sectors: housing and communal services, agriculture, transport, energy, water utilities and others. In the coming years we will face a huge flow of information that needs to be processed, digitized. This will require powerful computing servers, equipment for processing and analyzing incoming data, backup power, air conditioning for cooling - this entire complex includes a data processing center (DPC).

The creation of a unified data processing center is the basis for the further development of the Turkestan region, ”the specialists of JSC“ NC “SEC“ Shymkent ”and independent IT experts involved in the implementation of the“ Digital Kazakhstan ”program are sure. They studied the organization of the work of the data center from IT-specialists of Russia, where today such centers have already begun work in many regions.
