On August 9, the NEO NOMAD business game was held in the Saukele The Ballroom on the topic: project management of the State Program for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021, chaired by A. Yevniev, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the akimat of the Turkestan region and JSC “NC“ SEC “Shymkent”.

Farmers and representatives of the regional akimats of the region were invited to participate. Six teams were formed in the areas of cattle breeding, fish farming, horse breeding, camel breeding, as well as auxiliary teams: financial institutions, the farmers' union, and the meat union. The participants were faced with the task of presenting the management structure of the beef cattle breeding program, according to indicative indicators of the region, and then preparing a project management plan. Farmers shared their experience in gaining a good gain, insemination and the use of digital technologies in livestock. The “Credit Committee” evaluated the quality of materials, the credibility and cohesion of the team. According to the results of the game, winners in several categories were awarded.

In 2017, the project management system was introduced by the Government of Kazakhstan along with the traditional management mechanism and is considered as an advanced tool for quickly and efficiently introducing innovations into the market. The main goal of project management is to ensure the implementation of additional measures to accelerate economic growth.
