This year, construction of 63 multi-storey rental residential buildings will begin in Turkestan (3353 apartments, 229.1 thousand square meters), for this purpose, 3.5 billion tenge has been allocated from the republican budget, and 7.3 billion tenge from the regional budget.

In particular, in the city of Turkestan - 20 houses (1200 apartments, 78.3 thousand square meters); Kentau - 15 houses (900 apartments, 60.0 thousand square meters); Saryagash district - 13 houses (585 apartments, 45.7 thousand square meters); Tulkubassky district - 7 houses - 376 apartments, 22.7 thousand square meters); in the city of Arys - 3 houses (108 apartments, 5.9 thousand square meters); Zhetysaysky district - 2 houses (80 apartments, 6.1 thousand square meters); Shardara district - 2 houses (80 apartments, 6.9 thousand square meters); Otrar district - 1 house (24 apartments, 3.5 thousand square meters).

It is worth noting that, due to the republican and regional budgets, according to the results of the year, it is planned to put into operation 47 houses (2489 apartments, 170.8 thousand sq.m.)

In addition, at the beginning of last year, funds were allocated from the regional budget for the akimats of 13 districts and cities, for the construction of 31 two-story residential buildings (330 apartments, 13.9 thousand square meters) under the Nurly Zher program. To date, the construction of 12 (124 apartments) residential buildings has been completed. The remaining 19 houses (190 apartments) will be commissioned in the 1st half of 2019.

Also, last year in the city of Turkestan, construction of 6 multi-storey residential buildings (336 apartments, 26.1 thousand square meters) was launched, with the help of JSC "SEC Turkestan" and an individual developer. In the III quarter of 2019, these facilities will be commissioned and all apartments will be provided to the population under the 7-20-25 program.

Along with this, in Otrar district, Turkestan, in residential complexes “Turkestan - the new city”, 88 multi-storey residential buildings will be built on a 38-hectare site (2724 apartments, 196.3 thousand square meters). This year 44 residential buildings will be commissioned (1362 apartments, 98.2 thousand square meters), new apartments will be provided under the 7-20-25 program.

In total, in 2019, 4377 apartments will be commissioned in the Turkestan region.
