Today at JSC "SEC" Turkestan "(hereinafter - the Company) a meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on combating corruption in the Turkestan region and employees of the Company. The meeting discussed investment opportunities, the development potential of the region and ongoing projects.

In her speech, Chairman of the Board Aigul Akhmedzhanova thanked the management of the agency for supporting and speedy implementation of the Company's initiative to assist in work to increase the level of transparency and openness, which are necessary in the framework of investment and social projects.

“Corruption is one of the big problems not only of Kazakhstan, but of our time. By the decision of the head of state on June 13, 2019, the anti-corruption agency was reorganized and priority areas were identified. Today we are pleased to sign a memorandum of cooperation initiated by the leadership of the Company, which shows the responsibility and openness of the company in the work, ”said Asanuly Ganizhan, deputy head of the agency’s department.

It should be noted that on the basis of the signed memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in the framework of the Protecting business and investments project implemented by the agency, which is aimed at combating corruption risks, preventing bureaucratic barriers and creating a favorable investment climate. It is also planned to train employees of the Company and consulting support of business.

At the same time, at the last meeting, videos of the anti-corruption service were shown and preventive work was carried out with employees of the Company. Following the meeting, further cooperation and close work of the parties is expected.
