The new manufacturing facility is intended for the cultivation of crops using irrigation systems.
One of the priorities for the Turkestan region is to provide the regional center with food in full and appropriate quality.
In this regard, it was decided to create a food belt around the city, which includes a number of anchor projects that contribute to the provision of food to Turkestan.
So, from the middle of last year, JSC “SEC Turkestan” together with Ak-Zhol LLP have been implementing an investment project to create and organize the operation of a machine and tractor station for cultivating crops using the irrigation system.
By creating a joint venture Turkestan Agro XXI LLP, it is planned to service and grow crops on the lands of the agricultural cooperative of Shaga district with a total area of 1,043 hectares, of which 733 hectares - using irrigation systems.
To date, all 18 units of irrigation machines have been installed, work on installing distribution networks and 3 units of pumping stations for irrigation machines has been fully completed. Arrived 23 units of agricultural machinery purchased with financing from a subsidiary of KazAgro NMH JSC KazAgroFinance JSC.
In addition, 200 hectares of land are planted with winter wheat and 396 ha - alfalfa, and preparatory work is underway on the territory for cultivating corn for grain and silage.
It should be noted that the implementation of this investment project will create favorable conditions for increasing the yield of cultivated crops, and
also to provide the industrial dairy farm under construction with the necessary feed base.
Also, within the framework of the Project, training events, practical demonstration of the results obtained, field days and other events aimed at the widespread dissemination of modern agricultural technologies used using the irrigation system will be organized for the subjects of the agro-industrial complex of the Turkestan region.
